GBYM is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization,

founded by Richard Jaeggi in 2008 in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 in the month of April.

We are raising these funds for:

Access to laptops, software, media skills, and youth space in Langley Park, Wheaton, downtown Silver Spring, and Takoma Park, MD.

This campaign is to fund specific expansions that will take place at the CASA de Maryland headquarters in Langley Park, the Pembridge Square apartments in Wheaton, GBYM youth space in downtown Silver Spring, and the Sligo View and Cambridge/Winslow apartments in Takoma Park, MD.

For example, a gift of $500 can provide a student and their parents with a new HP laptop, one year of Microsoft 365, and noise-cancelling over-ear headphones. $1000 can provide games, art supplies, film and music streaming services, for a youth space  providing a much-needed space, open afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
